28 Venezuelans artists involved in the V biennial of sculpture
Prizes and honorable mentions are delivered on Sunday at the Gallery Trazos

      A group of 46 new artists signed up to participate in the V biennial of sculpture, but only 28 emerging artists from across the country will show his work this Sunday in the strokes of the Centro Lido Gallery.

The jury formed by the art critic Perán Erminy, the winner of the national prize of architecture and sculpture, Max Pedemonte and Noemí Márquez - twice winner of the Prix national of the arts of fire-, selected more than one score of Venezuelan artists who compete for the prize for best sculpture Hall and the recognition of the best works of folk art.

      Abstract and figurative parts. Constructivist and conceptual art made from iron, wood, ceramic and aluminum make up this edition of the biennial that pays homage to the master Pedro Briceño, one of the leading representatives of the geometric abstract art in the country, says María Fernanda Prado, Director of the gallery.

      To display joins the three-dimensional work of 40 artists, among them: Colette De Lozanne, Mateo Manaure, Luis Chacón, Oswaldo beams, Ani Villanueva, Eleonora Tugues, Lima Yuye, Gaudi be, Javier Level, Onofre Frías, Myriam González, Germán Cabrera, Carlos Medina, Cirilo Rodríguez, María Yolanda Medina, Alberto Sierra, Ingrid Lo
